How We Conduct Technical SEO Audits
While we audit SEO a little differently for each client, the foundation remains the same. At the high level, this is how we perform SEO technical audit services:
- Crawl the website. We’ll use tools that examine every single page of your site and look for things like duplicate content, broken links, redirects, too little content, and other factors that might be influencing your search engine rankings.
- Examine on-page technical SEO factors. Elements like page titles, meta descriptions, header tags, website structure, and linking all have a big impact on how well your site ranks. During this stage of the SEO audit, we’ll check the technical factors to find anything that needs to be fixed.
- Check site speed and page metrics. Everything from how quickly your page loads to the bounce rate of your website factors into your website performance. Analyzing these metrics can help us discover opportunities for improvement.
- Analyze off-page SEO elements. Your website performance is impacted by more than just the content on the page. We’ll dive into backlinks, competitors’ keyword rankings, and social media mentions. This gives you a good sense of where you fit in the larger picture of the search engine results page, and it helps you use you learn what you need to do to outperform your competitors.
